The Ministry of Exterior Affairs (MEA) on Saturday has written to Germany towards its comment on Delhi chief minister Arvind Kejriwal’s arrest by the Enforcement Directorate. In a press release launched on Saturday, EAM mentioned India has expressed its sturdy protest to the International Workplace Spokesperson’s feedback on India’s inner affairs which interferes with its independence of our judiciary.
“The German Deputy Chief of Mission in New Delhi was summoned right now and conveyed India’s sturdy protest on their International Workplace Spokesperson’s feedback on our inner affairs. We see such remarks as interfering in our judicial course of and undermining the independence of our judiciary,” the MEA mentioned in a press release.
“India is a vibrant and sturdy democracy with rule of regulation. As in all authorized instances within the nation, and elsewhere within the democratic world, regulation will take its personal course within the instantaneous matter. Biased assumptions made on this account are most unwarranted,” it added.
